Richard T. Marquez

Attorney Richard Marquez is the CEO and Managing attorney at The Marquez Law Firm. He graduated summa cum laude from UCLA in 1990 and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School in 1994. Mr. Marquez has over 28 years of experience working at major law firms representing both employers and employees in all types of employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and whistleblower cases.

Although now Mr. Marquez only represents exclusively employees, and has been doing so since 2018, his past experiences representing employers gives him a unique perspective on cases which allows him to offer effective, well-rounded representation to his clients.

In addition to the state bar of California, Mr. Marquez is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Federal District Court for the Central District of California, Federal District Court for the Northern District of California, and Federal District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Herber Ramirez

A first-generation Guatemalan-American, Herber Ramirez was raised in the borders of Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire. With a background in Psychology, and fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, Mr. Ramirez obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of La Verne College of Law where he also co-authored three appellate briefs for the California Court of Appeals and was part of the Moot Court Appellate Team. 

Since an early stage in his career, Mr. Ramirez has been successful in representing many employees who have been victims of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, or wage theft in their workplace. He is fully aware of the responsibility that comes with advocating for oppressed workers and dedicates his work to their well-being.
